Do I need to install an app on my iPhone?
No. PCremote runs in your phone's browser. Open the address shown on your PC's home screen, or scan the QR code.
Does it work when I am away from home?
No. Your phone must be on the same Wi-Fi network as your PC.
Windows says the app is from an unknown publisher. Is it safe?
Windows shows this warning for new apps that are not yet code-signed. Click "More info", then "Run anyway". Only do this for files you downloaded from this page.
Can I lock the phone out with a PIN?
Yes. The phone asks for a PIN, which you change in the settings. After 8 wrong attempts, that phone is locked out for 60 seconds.
